Khuất Văn Khang, a midfielder, recently received the Viettel's Stars award, which honors the ten best individuals out of around 70,000 employees of Viettel Group globally.
This is a well-deserved recognition for the relentless efforts of the young player who came from Viettel's own football academy.
Today, May 29th, at the headquarters of Viettel Group, Khuất Văn Khang became one of the outstanding faces honored at the Viettel's Stars program. This annual award aims to celebrate individuals with remarkable achievements, who have created positive values and made important contributions to Viettel's development in various fields.

Witnessing the moment his son's name was called, Mr. Khuất Văn Dẩu could not hide his emotion:
"I am very happy to be here with my family to witness Khang being honored. Since he was 10 years old, when his family brought him to the Viettel Football Training Center to pursue his passion, until today, it has been a long journey of effort, striving, and growth. For our family, this is truly a proud fruit," Mr. Dẩu shared.
Born in 2003, Khuất Văn Khang is considered one of the most successful and decorated young players in Vietnamese football in recent years. The midfielder, who plays for Thể Công - Viettel, has an enviable collection of titles: two ASEAN U23 championships, a SEA Games gold medal, an ASEAN Cup title, and many appearances for national teams in major tournaments such as the Asian Cup, ASIAD, and World Cup qualifiers.
In particular, 2025 marked a strong step forward for Khuất Văn Khang in the colors of the Vietnamese national teams. At the ASEAN Cup, he scored 2 goals and provided 3 assists, contributing greatly to Vietnam's championship. In the U23 Vietnam team, Khang continued to show his leadership role as captain, leading the team to a third-place finish at the 2026 U23 Asian Cup and playing a key role in the quest for the gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games.

At the club level, Khuất Văn Khang is having an impressive season with Thể Công - Viettel. After four consecutive seasons playing regularly in V.League, the midfielder from Phúc Thọ (Hanoi) has become a key pillar of the army team. In 2025 alone, he played over 2,200 minutes across all competitions, scoring 6 goals and providing 9 assists.
Not only is he considered one of the most outstanding players in the V.League 2025/26, but Khuất Văn Khang has also received Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister and the Minister of National Defense for his excellent contributions to Vietnamese football.
The Viettel's Stars award is therefore not only a recognition of Khuất Văn Khang's professional achievements, but also a testament to the growth of a player trained in Viettel's own environment, rising to become a pride of Vietnamese football.
