FIFA President congratulates Hanoi Police FC on winning the V-League 2025/26

Gianni Infantino, President of FIFA, dispatched a message to Tran Quoc Tuan, President of the Vietnam Football Federation, to extend his congratulations to Hanoi Police FC on winning the LPBank V-League 2025/26 title.

In the letter, the FIFA chief offered his best wishes to the new champions of Vietnamese football, while also acknowledging the outstanding efforts and remarkable achievements displayed by the team throughout the season.

Mr. Gianni Infantino wrote: "I would like to extend my congratulations to the new champions of Vietnamese football – Hanoi Police FC. Their persistent efforts and impressive performances throughout the season have been justly rewarded with this prestigious honor. Congratulations to every member of the team and the entire club for this fantastic achievement."

Alongside the congratulations for Hanoi Police FC, the FIFA President also commended the role and contributions of VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan and the Vietnam Football Federation to the development of domestic football.

The letter from the FIFA President further demonstrates the global football body's attention and recognition of Vietnam's football progress and the outstanding achievements of clubs within the national professional league system.

Hanoi Police FC secured the LPBank V-League 2025/26 title early, three rounds before the end of the season. Following their Round 25 match against Becamex Ho Chi Minh City at Hang Day Stadium at 6:00 PM on May 31, the tournament organizers will present the championship trophy to the club's leadership, coaching staff, and players.

To show gratitude to supporters after the championship win, Hanoi Police FC announced a free ticket giveaway program starting May 27. Each fan can receive up to two tickets, and the program will continue until tickets run out.

Additionally, the club has prepared 1,000 gifts for fans, including fan-edition jerseys, balls signed by players, and 15% discount vouchers for training registration at the CAHN Community Football Center (CAAC).

On the international stage, Hanoi Police FC will represent Vietnam in the AFC Champions League Elite 2026/27. Recently, the team learned their opponent for the playoff round. According to the draw results, the Vietnamese representative will face Adelaide United (Australia) on August 11 to compete for a spot in the group stage of Asia's top club competition.

On the morning of May 30, representatives of the coaching staff and players of Hanoi Police FC also participated in the launch event of the "Peaceful Homeland" video clip creation contest organized by the Hanoi City Police.

As part of the event, the club members interacted with, signed jerseys for, and took souvenir photos with thousands of Capital fans, creating a lively atmosphere ahead of the official day when they will lift the LPBank V-League 2025/26 championship trophy.
