The U19 Vietnam team has completed preparations for their opening match at the 2026 ASEAN U19 Championship against U19 Timor Leste, taking place at 4:00 PM on June 1.

Previously, the U19 Vietnam team attended a program on Integrity and Protection of Young Players organized by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) at the hotel where the team is staying.
This is a mandatory activity for teams participating in the tournament, helping to raise awareness among players and team members about regulations regarding the prevention of negative practices in football as well as the protection of young players.
On the morning of May 31, head coach Yutaka Ikeuchi along with some coaching staff members attended a technical meeting and press conference before the group stage.
In the afternoon of the same day, coach Yutaka Ikeuchi and his players will have their final training session to finalize preparations before the opening match.
This is also when the coaching staff finalizes the official list of 23 registered players for the 2026 ASEAN U19 Championship, aiming for a favorable result in the opening match to build momentum for their journey in this year's tournament.
Thanh Hoa Club registers coach Nguyen Anh Duc.

On May 29, Thanh Hoa Club completed the registration procedures for the head coach position for Mr. Nguyen Anh Duc. By May 30, on the homepage of the Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF), coach Nguyen Anh Duc was officially confirmed as the head coach of the Thanh Hoa team.
Coach Mai Xuan Hop serves as assistant. The coaching staff also includes assistants Le Hong Minh, Truong Manh Ha, and Nguyen Manh Dung. Team officials include Do Van Phuc, Do Trong Hai, and Duong Tien Ky.
Coach Nguyen Anh Duc holds a Pro coaching license, fully meeting the professional requirements set by the tournament organizing committee. He is the third head coach of Thanh Hoa Club this season, after Mr. Choi Won Kwon and Mai Xuan Hop.
Currently, Thanh Hoa Club has 25 points, standing 10th on the rankings, and has achieved their survival goal. In the final two rounds, the team will face Ninh Binh FC and SHB Da Nang respectively.
VFF President awards First Division championship cup to Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club.
Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club has realized its goal of winning the 2025/26 Bia Sao Vang National First Division championship, thereby earning promotion to participate in the V-League 2026/27 after a persistent and tireless effort over many seasons.
With consistent form and composure shown throughout the season, coach Nguyen Viet Thang and his players have deservedly crowned champions one round early.
Attending the match on the afternoon of May 30 and presenting the cup to the champions were Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan – AFC Standing Committee Member, VFF President, and Mr. Tran Anh Tu – Chairman of the Board of VPF Company, Vice President of VFF.
Truong Tuoi Dong Nai is the team with the most wins, fewest losses, most goals scored, and strongest defense in the tournament. Additionally, the team also achieved an impressive away record and reached the 50-point mark after 21 rounds.
The 2025/26 Bia Sao Vang National First Division championship is a well-deserved reward for the relentless efforts of Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Club throughout the season.

Thai Son Nam shares points at National Futsal Championship.
The match between Sai Gon Titans and defending champions Thai Son Nam HCMC ended without any goals scored.
Thai Son Nam HCMC started more proactively but faced an opponent playing an annoying defensive-counterattack style.
The most notable situation in the first half occurred in the 15th minute when Tien Hung had a chance to score into an empty net. However, Dinh Ky timely retreated to clear the ball right on the goal line, saving Sai Gon Titans.
In the second half, Thai Son Nam HCMC continued to increase pressure. In the 25th minute, from a favorable pass by Nhan Gia Hung, Thinh Phat unleashed a very strong shot but the ball hit the crossbar and bounced out.
In the final minutes, Thai Son Nam HCMC used a power-play strategy to search for a goal. However, the well-organized defense of Sai Gon Titans held firm to preserve the 0-0 draw and earn a valuable point.
