After an emotional 2025/26 Champions League season, UEFA officially announced the Team of the Season selected by the Technical Observer Group. Champions Paris Saint-Germain dominated with five representatives, affirming their status as Europe's top team after successfully defending their crown.
The French capital club contributed the most prominent names in the lineup. In attack, Ousmane Dembele was honored after an explosive season, while Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the Player of the Season, took the left flank. In midfield, Vitinha, named Man of the Match in the final, continued to impress with his ability to control and dominate the game.
PSG's defensive line was also recognized with the presence of captain Marquinhos and full-back Nuno Mendes. This duo played a key role in helping the French side overcome a series of strong opponents to lift the prestigious silver trophy for the second consecutive time.
Runner-up Arsenal had three players named in the Team of the Season. Goalkeeper David Raya was the top choice between the sticks after a series of outstanding performances throughout the tournament. Center-back Gabriel and midfielder Declan Rice were also honored by UEFA for their notable contributions in leading the Gunners to the Champions League final for the first time in 20 years.
Bayern Munich featured two stars. Michael Olise had an impressive European season in the colors of the Bavarians, while Harry Kane continued to affirm his class as one of the world's best strikers with a series of crucial goals.
The remaining spot went to Marcos Llorente of Atletico Madrid. The Spanish star was highly regarded for his versatility, comprehensive attacking and defensive abilities, and consistent form throughout the season.
