Having secured the 2025/26 V.League title, Coach Polking affirmed his determination to take Hanoi Police FC to the highest levels in Asia and beyond.
After officially clinching the V.League 1-2025/26 title, Hanoi Police FC concluded an emotional season with the trophy ceremony at Hang Day Stadium,in front of tens of thousands of jubilant fans. Coach Alexandre Polking could not hide his pride as he witnessed the results the team had worked hard to build over many months. For the German-Brazilian manager, this championship is a well-deserved reward for the squad's fighting spirit and unity.
Speaking to the media after the match, Coach Polking stated that Hanoi Police's path to the top was not easy, contrary to what many believed. He emphasized: "In football, nothing comes easy. Every team in the V.League has its own identity, and they always give their all to beat us. Hanoi Police FC had to work extremely hard week by week, game by game, throughout 26 rounds to deserve to be in this position."
The past season saw remarkable consistency from the police club. Under Polking's leadership, CAHN boasted a well-balanced squad across all three lines, where every player played a crucial role in the collective success. Geovane Magno's arrival made the playing style smoother and more unpredictable, while the duo Doan Van Hau and Bui Hoang Viet Anh formed a reliable shield in front of goalkeeper Filip Nguyen.
Alongside experienced stars like Quang Hai, Jayson Pendant, and Filip Nguyen, CAHN also gained fresh energy from young talents. Striker Nguyen Dinh Bac was one of the standout performers in the final stretch of the season, delivering many impressive displays. It was the blend of youth, experience, and quality foreign players that created a cohesive unit, helping the team maintain its top position in the V.League.
However, for Polking, the domestic title is only the beginning of bigger goals. The coach is now setting his sights on regional and continental arenas. He stated: "Our next objective is to continue dominating the domestic league, retain key players, and find two or three more positions to complete the squad. Especially next season, we want to present a stronger, more international image of Hanoi Police FC in competitions like the AFC Champions League Elite and Shopee Cup."
To realize that ambition, CAHN will need thorough preparation for a packed schedule and challenging away trips in Asia. The club's coaching staff is working on a plan coordinated with the Vietnam Football Federation and the national team to ensure the strongest squad for the new season. Closing the interview, Coach Polking sent a determined message: "Our goal is crystal clear: win those matches and compete fairly in the highest club-level tournaments in the region and continent." This also serves as a declaration of the desire to expand the Hanoi Police brand across the Asian football map.
