"Penalties are a game of luck. But Bac Ninh FC had prepared thoroughly for the shootout in this match. We studied each player and their kicking style. There was luck, but only partly.

I am very confident in my penalty‑saving ability. In the past, I have won penalty shootouts, like in the National Super Cup match against Hanoi FC in 2016.

"The promotion ticket is a well‑deserved achievement for Bac Ninh FC, as our lineup includes many players with vast V‑League experience, and we also transmitted that experience to the younger ones," Tuan Linh shared after the match.

Coach Le Huynh Duc becomes a VFF lecturer

The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) is organizing an assessment of the capabilities of coaches participating in the AFC/VFF 'A' certificate course.

The assessment attracted 21 coaches from clubs and football centers in the northern region who registered to participate. Notably, Coach Doan Thi Kim Chi, head coach of the Ho Chi Minh City women's club, also took part in the program.

Taking part in the evaluation were Mr. Koshida Takeshi and Mr. Le Huynh Duc – a member of the National Coaches Council and also a lecturer for the VFF. The practical sessions received active support from U17 players of the PVF Youth Football Training Center and Viettel Club.

Following the direction of VFF Technical Director Koshida Takeshi, the assessment was designed with high professional standards, equivalent to the entry requirements for the Professional Coach (Pro) course, to ensure the quality of participants in the AFC/VFF 'A' certificate training program.

The assessment also provided an opportunity for many coaches who had previously attended AFC/VFF 'A' courses at PVF, Viettel, and other units to observe and exchange professional experience.
