Hot Vietnamese football news today 14/6: National Cup champion determined; Hanoi Youth and Hue earn promotion to First Division.
The 2025/26 professional football season now has only one match left, taking place this afternoon (14/6). At Ninh Binh Stadium, the home team will host Cong An TP.HCM in the final of the LPBank Securities National Cup 2025/26.

After an unexpectedly successful V.League season, Ninh Binh is on the verge of making 2026 a memorable milestone. That is enough motivation for the players of coach Chu Dinh Nghiem to enter the match with the highest determination.
In terms of squad strength, current form, tactical imprint of the coaching staff, as well as home advantage, Ninh Binh FC is currently considered slightly superior to their opponents.
High form, balanced squad, confidence after an impressive semifinal victory, the home ground advantage, and above all, the desire to write a new chapter for the ancient capital's football are factors that make Ninh Binh the favorite.
However, cup finals always have their own rules. Cong An TP.HCM will likely adopt a tight counter-attacking style and could easily take the match to a penalty shootout full of luck. Notably, in the V.League return leg held at Ninh Binh Stadium, the away side once held their opponents to a 1-1 draw.
Hanoi Youth and Hue earn promotion to First Division

In the match against Truong Giang Gia Dinh, in the 28th minute, the opponent was awarded a penalty, and Thai Son successfully converted it to open the scoring.
Hanoi Youth did not take long to bring the game back to balance. In the 45+4th minute, from a free kick on the right flank by Anh Tu, Dinh Thinh jumped high to head the ball accurately, scoring the equalizer to make it 1-1.
Coach Pham Minh Duc's team added two more goals from Anh Tu in the 63rd minute and Tien Dat in the 84th, securing a 3-1 final victory and earning a spot in the First Division next season.
In the other match, Hue started with great enthusiasm and soon took the lead in the 7th minute thanks to a goal from Lam Son.
Huu Tuan shone with a brace in the 9th and 42nd minutes, helping the ancient capital team secure a 3-0 victory, thus returning to the 2026/27 National First Division.
