OFFICIAL: MU signs a record deal far surpassing Man City and Arsenal

Manchester United has secured a historic deal with Amazon for a behind-the-scenes documentary covering the 2026/27 campaign, surpassing the agreements made with Man City, Arsenal, and Tottenham.

The Manchester United club will become the next team featured in Amazon Prime's famous documentary series All or Nothing after reaching a deal considered the largest in history for a professional football club.

According to sources from Old Trafford, Amazon will closely follow Manchester United's entire journey in the 2026/27 season. The film crew is allowed to film from the start of the season, gaining access to the first team's behind-the-scenes, the Carrington training center, and many internal club activities.

Notably, the fee Amazon is paying is said to far exceed what the platform has previously spent on documentaries about Manchester City, Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspur. Manchester United's leadership believes this is the highest fee ever paid for a football documentary project.

The idea of making a behind-the-scenes film has been considered by the Old Trafford club for several years. The club had received many offers from streaming platforms, including an attractive proposal during their 2023 US tour.

However, this plan was once delayed when head coach Ruben Amorim - who was still managing the team at that time, expressed concerns about the cameras affecting the first-team environment.

After much consideration, Manchester United's management believes this is the right time to provide fans with a more authentic look at the club.

Manchester United is aiming to strengthen its connection with global fans

Toby Craig, Director of Communications at Manchester United, said: "Now is the right time to open the doors so that for the first time, fans around the world can see behind the scenes of a club that means so much to so many people."

He added: "This documentary will showcase the unique people, ambitions, and culture of Manchester United; from the iconic atmosphere at Old Trafford to the daily work taking place behind the scenes at Carrington."

"We will share some stories about the history of this club with both current fans and new audiences around the world as we compete at the highest level, both domestically and in the Champions League."
