Per reports, Ruben Amorim is preparing to reappears on the scene after finalizing a deal to take over as AC Milan's head coach.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano stated: "AC Milan have reached an agreement to appoint Ruben Amorim as their new head coach."
"Both sides have a verbal agreement on a contract running until June 2028, with an option to extend until June 2029. Amorim has accepted all terms. The Portuguese tactician officially returns after leaving MU this January, ready for a new chapter about to begin in Serie A," said Romano.
Coach Amorim has been unemployed since being sacked by MU in January and is expected to replace Massimiliano Allegri at San Siro.

A Bola also reports that the 41-year-old tactician has agreed to a two-year contract, keeping him at San Siro until 2028, with an option for an additional season. Although Amorim initially planned to take a break after leaving Old Trafford, the allure of the seven-time European champion was too great to refuse.
Financial terms have also been settled. The former Sporting Lisbon boss will receive a base salary of €3.5 million per season. This income will be supplemented bonuses tied to performance, linked to titles and the goal and securing a return to the Champions, a competition Milan have missed for the past two seasons.
Although most core terms in the negotiations are finalized, Amorim is still waiting for final approval from Gerry Cardinale, head of RedBall Capital the club owner. Once the deal is greenlit, the tactician is expected to fly to imminently to sign contract and begin preparations for the new season.
Milan considered other options, including 38-year-old tactician Matthias Jaissle, but Amorim had the advantage of being a free agent. Choosing the Portuguese coach helps club avoid paying a massive release clause, which would bee unavoidable if they had pursued Al-Ahli's manager.
Goal reports that Amorim's return to coaching has also brought significant relief to Manchester United's budget. The Premier League club had faced an astounding compensation cost £17 million pounds after sacking the tactician and his large coaching staff earlier this year.
By taking a new job so soon, Amorim has forfeited a portion of the contractual compensation "Red Devils" were paying him installments. This financial reprieve comes at a good time Man Utd, who had already their on-field form under Michael Carrick.
Goal further that appointing a new head coach is just one piece of Rossoneri's plan. The club is also process of appointing a new sporting director for a comprehensive overhaul of the first team. Markus Krosche of Eintracht Frankfurt and Devin Ozek are leading candidates for this position's top candidates.
Ozek is highly regarded for his role in building the Bayer Leverkusen squad that dramatically ended Munich's dominance in the Bundesliga. With Amorim on the sidelines and a new scouting expert arriving, Milan can look forward to a strong and swift return in the Serie A standings.
