On June 20 Beijing time, the Women's Volleyball Nations League continued. In the most recent matches, Turkey swept France 3-0, Dominican Republic lost 0-3 to Serbia, Ukraine fell 0-3 to the Netherlands, Japan beat Czech Republic 3-0, China avenged France with a 3-0 win, Bulgaria lost 1-3 to Canada, and Belgium swept Germany 3-0. As a result, the latest standings are out: Brazil and Japan lead, and China ranks sixth!

On this matchday, the matchups featured clear mismatches with no clashes between strong teams, so the games were largely one-sided. Six matches ended in 3-0 sweeps, and one was a 3-1 victory!

Dominican Republic faced Serbia. Both teams have had tough times: Dominican Republic lost five in a row, while Serbia had one win and five losses. Compared to Serbia, Dominican Republic simply played poorly and lacked strength. However, many of Serbia's losses were narrow 2-3 defeats, indicating they struggle in crucial moments and lack a decisive finisher. Ultimately, Serbia's superior strength prevailed, sweeping 3-0 to end their losing streak and handing Dominican Republic a sixth consecutive loss!
Japan faced Czech Republic. Japan came into this VNL with full force, fielding their main lineup and already on a five-game winning streak. They took on a rapidly improving Czech team in this round. Although the final score was a 3-0 sweep, only the first set was an easy 25-15 blowout; the second and third sets were extremely hard-fought, decided in the final moments at 25-23 and 27-25, each won by just two points. This shows that the Czech team is actually quite capable, making China's 0-3 loss to them understandable!

China faced France. Against the French team that had defeated them at the World Championships, China displayed dominance. The first two sets were won by pulling away in the latter stages, while the third set showcased China's resilience as they came from behind to seal the win, sweeping France 3-0 and extending their winning streak to five. This Chinese team is truly impressive—their attacks and serves are very powerful, and their passes and defense are extremely stable. Veteran Wang Mengjie was a steadying anchor. The team's transition is now complete; they just need more competitions, and we believe they will once again become strong contenders for the title!
In the latest standings, the top tier consists of Brazil and Japan, both with six consecutive wins and 16 points, ranking first and second. Italy, the United States, Poland, and China all have the same record of 5 wins and 1 loss, forming the second tier. Dominican Republic is the only winless team at the bottom!
