Closing the 2025/26 V-League, the summer transfer market instantly becomes vibrant as a series of clubs engage in the race to bolster their forces. From championship candidates like Hanoi FC, The Cong Viettel, CAHN, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh to ambitious teams such as CATPHCM or newcomer Dong Nai, all are actively looking for quality deals to prepare for the highly competitive 2026/27 season.
The Cong Viettel is the most active club in the transfer market. The military team has quickly reached agreements with several notable names, including Rimario, Doan Ngoc Tan, Trieu Viet Hung, and Pham Trung Hieu.
This is considered an important preparation step as coach Velizar Popov's team not only aims for the V-League championship race but also must compete in the AFC Champions League Two. The early squad reinforcement gives The Cong Viettel more time to integrate players and build a stable framework before the new season.
CATPHCM has also shown significant ambition. The club, which just won the National Cup, has recruited central defender Nguyen Nhat Minh and striker Michael Olaha, while continuing to pursue several other targets in the market. Experienced names like Phan Van Duc along with some young Vietnamese national team players are reportedly on the priority list. With competition across multiple fronts, CATPHCM is aiming for a deep squad capable of contending for titles.

Meanwhile, Hanoi FC enters the transfer period with the goal of refreshing their squad. The capital club has parted ways with some foreign players and quickly signed defender Mai Sy Hoang. Additionally, the management is also advancing deals in the attacking and midfield lines to restore the club to its status as a top contender after several seasons lagging behind Nam Dinh and CAHN.
Ninh Binh and Nam Dinh are also not staying out of the race. The ancient capital team of Hoa Lu has bid farewell to 3 foreign players before finalizing deals for Lucas Turci and Ho Tan Tai, while welcoming back Mach Ngoc Ha and Dinh Thanh Binh. Meanwhile, Nam Dinh is undergoing a major overhaul, saying goodbye to a series of foreign players while continuing to seek quality additions to maintain competitiveness in the upcoming season. Not only the big clubs, but newcomer Dong Nai is also actively participating in the transfer market to upgrade their squad after earning promotion to the V-League.
The bustling preparations in some clubs or the quiet ones in others have shown that the 2026/27 V-League is already making early moves, as the new season promises to be extremely fierce in both championship and relegation races. All this indicates that the V-League is being "refreshed" in a positive direction.
