Spanish coach receives rare privilege from a team recently relegated from V.League

During the first working session held on the morning of July 6, coach Gerard Albadalejo met with the club's leadership and representatives from various departments, including competition organization, communications, facilities, and logistics. Both sides focused on discussing preparations for the new season, covering training programs, training camp schedules, friendly matches, and squad building plans aimed at securing promotion.

The most notable point is that Becamex TP.HCM has decided to grant full professional control to coach Gerard Albadalejo. The Spanish manager will be directly responsible for all professional matters, from developing playing style and shaping tactics to selecting coaching staff. The club's leadership has affirmed that they will respect the head coach's decisions to allow him to implement his football philosophy according to the intended direction.

According to the plan, the composition of the coaching staff will also be proposed and selected by coach Gerard Albadalejo himself. Notably, the club stated that they will not assign any Vietnamese coaches to the coaching staff unless requested by the Spanish strategist.
