Vietnam's 'mini' team is determined to win the V-League title with a superstar squad.

Backed by top-tier acquisitions such as Marciel Silva, Hồ Tấn Tài, and Lucao do Break, and led by head coach Chu Đình Nghiêm, Ninh Bình has the strength to challenge for the V-League 2026/27 title.

Ninh Bình is emerging as one of the most notable names ahead of the V-League 2026/27 season thanks to an ambitious transfer window. A host of quality signings, combined with the leadership of coach Chu Đình Nghiêm, the Hoa Lư team is no longer hiding its goal of creating a major upset and ready to challenge the giants in the title race.

The centerpiece of Ninh Bình's new lineup is midfielder Marciel Silva. The Brazilian star previously impressed for Hoàng Anh Gia Lai with his ability to control the game, dictate play, and distribute the ball effectively. Not flashy, but Marciel always knows how to strike a balance between attack and defense, making him one of the most notable foreign midfielders in the V-League.

In particular, the combination of Marciel and captain Nguyễn Hoàng Đức promises to form one of the best central midfield duos in the league. With Hoàng Đức's creativity and Marciel's solidity, Ninh Bình can dominate the midfield against most opponents.

Not only does he possess this formidable pair, but coach Chu Đình Nghiêm also has many options in the midfield with Trần Thành Trung, Lê Văn Thuận, Dụng Quang Nho, and Nguyễn Tài Lộc. Squad depth will be a foundation for Ninh Bình to maintain stability during the dense schedule of the new season.
