Vietnamese player receives university graduation certificate

Khuat Van Khang, a midfielder, recently achieved a notable off-field milestone by officially obtaining his diploma from Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports.

Khuat Van Khang and fellow player Nguyen Van Tu have completed their studies and received their graduation certificates. For Van Khang, this is a commendable achievement as the 2003-born midfielder had to balance his studies with a demanding schedule of training and competitions at both club and national team levels.

Born on May 11, 2003, Khuat Van Khang came through the Viettel youth system and is now a key player for The Cong Viettel. Playing as an attacking midfielder or winger, Van Khang is highly regarded for his technique, ball handling skills, and game intelligence.

Van Khang's career has featured many notable milestones early on. He has consistently represented Vietnam's youth national teams, participated in the Asian U23 Championship while still at U19 age, and has made three consecutive appearances at the continental U23 finals.

The years 2025 and early 2026 marked a successful period for Khuat Van Khang. As captain, the The Cong Viettel midfielder led the U22 Vietnam team to win the gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games. Subsequently, he continued as captain of the U23 Vietnam team at the 2026 Asian U23 Championship, where the team won a bronze medal.

At the club level, Van Khang has increasingly established himself as a key player. In 2025 alone, he played over 2,200 minutes across all competitions, scoring 6 goals and providing 9 assists. His consistent performances have made the 2003-born midfielder one of the standout figures for The Cong Viettel.

Van Khang has also secured a place in the Vietnam national team early on and is among the group of young players with extensive international experience in Vietnamese football today.

Therefore, completing his university program amid a continuous cycle of matches is a meaningful milestone for Khuat Van Khang.

Currently, Khuat Van Khang is training with the Vietnam national team in South Korea to prepare for the Asean Cup 2026.
