The Cong Viettel and Song Lam Nghe An respectively overcame their semi-final opponents to secure the right to play in the 2026 National U13 final.

The two most outstanding teams of the 2026 Yamaha Cup National Youth Football Championship (U13) Finals have officially been revealed following the semi-final matches held on the afternoon of July 11 at Lach Tray Stadium (Hai Phong). Both The Cong Viettel and Song Lam Nghe An showed their composure at crucial moments to overcome their rivals, thereby earning the right to appear in the most anticipated final of the tournament.

In the first semi-final, The Cong Viettel came up against Hanoi FC in a match dubbed the "Capital Derby" at the U13 level. The army team took the initiative from the start and applied pressure early on, but faced fierce resistance from the opposition. Just as the first half seemed set to end without a goal, Hoang Anh capitalized on a scramble inside the box to score from close range, netting the only goal of the match in the 30th minute.

In the second half, Hanoi FC pushed forward with all their might in search of an equalizer. However, The Cong Viettel's defense remained focused and tight, repeatedly neutralizing dangerous situations to preserve the narrow 1-0 victory. This result made the army team the first to reach the 2026 National U13 final.

In the other semi-final, Song Lam Nghe An continued to demonstrate why they are one of the strongest title contenders. Against Dong A Thanh Hoa, the Nghe An side controlled the game completely but had to wait until the second half to break through the opponent's defense. In the 51st minute, captain Ba Duan broke the deadlock, and then went on to make an impact with two assists that helped Duc Hieu and Xuan Luong find the net.

After taking the lead, Song Lam Nghe An's performance grew increasingly impressive. Duc Hieu completed a brace in stoppage time to seal a emphatic 4-0 victory, sending the Nghe An team to the final in a highly convincing manner. Meanwhile, Hanoi FC and Dong A Thanh Hoa ended the tournament sharing third place.
