CAHN FC strengthens their squad with forward David Henen

CAHN (Hanoi Police FC) is again making waves in the transfer window before the 2026/27 campaign, having unveiled a deal for Togolese national team forward David Henen.

The 1996-born striker stands 1.85 m tall and has previously played in various European leagues for clubs including Everton U23 (England), Olympiacos B (Greece), Grenoble (France), and Kortrijk (Belgium). Before joining CAHN, David Henen represented SHB Da Nang in the 2025/26 V.League, making 21 appearances and scoring 3 goals.

According to an announcement from CAHN, the addition of David Henen is expected to bolster their attacking strength, providing the team with more options as they compete across multiple fronts this season.

This is the next notable contract for CAHN during the summer transfer window. Earlier, the team managed by coach Mano Polking recruited Spanish midfielder Damià Sabater. The player, who came through Mallorca's youth academy, is expected to bring quality to the midfield thanks to his experience in European professional leagues.

On the other side, CAHN also parted ways with several individuals after the 2025/26 season concluded, as part of a squad restructuring aimed at maintaining competitiveness in the V.League and cup competitions.

Following their V.League 2025/26 championship, CAHN will enter the new season with a packed fixture list, including the V.League, National Cup, National Super Cup, ASEAN Club Championship, and the 2026/27 AFC Champions League Elite play-off.

The successive additions of experienced foreign players show that the capital club is making thorough preparations to defend domestic titles and aim to make a mark on the continental stage.
