CAHN officially recruits a new player with European experience.

CAHN further reinforces its lineup before the 2026/27 season, having formally acquired forward David Henen to enhance the team for the forthcoming tournaments.

Hanoi Police Club (CAHN) continues to demonstrate its great ambition. Ahead of the 2026/27 season, CAHN officially announced the signing of striker David Henen. The arrival of the Togolese forward is the latest step in the capital club's strategy to strengthen its forces, as they prepare for a season with a dense schedule both domestically and internationally.

David Henen, born in 1996, stands 1.85 m tall and is a Togolese international. Before joining CAHN, the striker spent many years playing in Europe for clubs such as Everton U23 (England), Olympiacos B (Greece), Grenoble (France), and Kortrijk (Belgium). In the 2025/26 season, Henen played for SHB Đà Nẵng in the V.League, making 21 appearances and scoring 3 goals, leaving a mark with his solid physical foundation and wide-ranging activity in attack.

David Henen officially joined CAHN ahead of the 2026/27 season.

According to CAHN's announcement, David Henen is expected to boost the team's attacking strength while providing rotation options as the club competes on multiple fronts. With his international experience and familiarity with Vietnamese football after a season in the V.League, the Togolese striker is anticipated to quickly adapt and create positive competition within the squad.

This is also the next notable new signing for CAHN in this summer's transfer window. Previously, the reigning V.League champions completed the recruitment of Spanish midfielder Damià Sabater, a product of Mallorca's youth academy who has played in several professional leagues in Europe. These consecutive signings show that CAHN is prioritizing improving squad depth rather than focusing only on a few positions.

The Togolese striker previously played for SHB Đà Nẵng in the V.League 2025/26.

On the other hand, coach Mano Polking's team also underwent a squad overhaul after the 2025/26 season. Several players said goodbye to make way for new faces, helping the coaching staff build a lineup more aligned with the tactical direction for the upcoming season. This is seen as a necessary preparation for CAHN to maintain stability and competitiveness in the coming period.

After winning the V.League 2025/26, CAHN will face a packed schedule consisting of the V.League, National Super Cup, National Cup, ASEAN Club Championship, and the AFC Champions League Elite 2026/27 playoffs. Therefore, continuously adding experienced players like David Henen and Damià Sabater shows the capital club's great determination to defend domestic titles while aiming to make an impact on the continental stage.
