The 2026 ASEAN Hyundai Cup Trophy Tour arrives in Hanoi

The promotional tour for the 2026 ASEAN Hyundai Cup will visit Hanoi, featuring the prestigious trophy on display at Trang Tien Plaza on July 18 and 19, only a week ahead of the eagerly awaited competition starting on July 24.

The appearance of the ASEAN Hyundai Cup in Hanoi is part of an automotive exhibition hosted by Hyundai, the tournament's title sponsor.

The event offers football fans and visitors the chance to explore the latest vehicle models from the global leader in smart mobility solutions, while also getting a firsthand view of the most prestigious trophy in Southeast Asian football.

The Hyundai exhibition will be open to the public free of charge from 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM on both days. Visitors can register for test drives of Hyundai vehicles, take part in various football-themed interactive activities, receive exclusive gifts, join lucky draws, and take photos with the championship trophy.

The ASEAN Hyundai Cup, the most prestigious tournament in Southeast Asian football, will bring together 10 national teams competing for the regional championship from July 24 to August 26, coinciding with the tournament's 30th anniversary.

After the stop in Vietnam, the 2026 ASEAN Hyundai Cup Trophy Tour will continue to Indonesia, with events scheduled at Kota Kasablanka (Jakarta) on July 25 and 26, followed by the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD City, Tangerang, on July 29, August 1–2, and August 8–9.

The 2026 ASEAN Hyundai Cup marks the 16th edition of the Southeast Asian football championship for men's national teams and also celebrates 30 years since the tournament's inception in 1996. The competition runs from July 24 to August 26, 2026, featuring 10 teams.

According to the draw results, defending champions Vietnam are placed in Group A alongside Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, and the winner of the play-off between Brunei and Timor Leste. Meanwhile, Group B consists of Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Laos.

The teams will play a single round-robin in the group stage on a home-and-away basis. The top two teams from each group advance to the semifinals, which are contested over two legs, followed by the final also played over two legs to determine the Southeast Asian champion.

Vietnam will begin its title defense with an away match against the winner of the play-off on July 24, followed by matches against Singapore (July 30), Indonesia (August 3), and Cambodia (August 7).
