Song Lam Nghe An team won the championship of the National Youth Football Tournament (U13).

The final round of the Yamaha Cup 2026 National Youth Football Tournament (U13) brought together 16 teams, divided into 4 groups. Group A included: Hai Phong, T&T Nghe An, Becamex Ho Chi Minh City, and Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Football Academy. Group B consisted of: Hanoi, Dong Nai, Dak Lak, and Bac Ninh. Group C featured: The Cong - Viettel, Dong A Thanh Hoa, Gia Lai, and Ho Chi Minh City. Group D comprised: Hanoi Police, Song Lam Nghe An, LPBank Hoang Anh Gia Lai, and Ho Chi Minh City Police. Among them, The Cong Viettel and Song Lam Nghe An impressively overcame their opponents to reach the final match.

Final results: Song Lam Nghe An won the championship; the runner-up was The Cong Viettel; Hanoi Football Club and Dong A Thanh Hoa shared the third place.

The year 2026 also marks a very meaningful milestone as the National Youth Football Tournament (U13) enters its 30th season. Over the past 30 years, under the direction of the Vietnam Football Federation, the organization of the Thieu nien Tien phong and Nhi dong Newspaper, the steadfast support of Yamaha Motor Vietnam Company, along with local authorities, training centers, and clubs nationwide, the tournament has become one of the most prestigious and traditional playgrounds for Vietnamese youth football.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Phan Khue, Editor-in-Chief of the Thieu nien Tien phong and Nhi dong Newspaper, emphasized that the tournament is not only a place to discover and nurture many generations of talented players for national teams, but also contributes to fostering a love for sports, educating character, willpower, discipline, and the desire to contribute for tens of thousands of Vietnamese youth. That is the enduring value that has allowed the National U13 Tournament to maintain its vitality and position over the past three decades.
