Dong Nai's Fresh Field creates a buzz with Romanian national team player

Fresh Field Dong Nai reaffirms its determination for the V.League 2026/27 campaign with the formal unveiling of the contract for Romanian forward Andrei Ivan. This move is considered the club's most significant acquisition after multiple strengthening efforts in recent times.

Andrei Ivan, born in 1997, has spent several years representing the Romanian national team and possesses extensive experience playing in Europe. Throughout his career, he has played for Universitatea Craiova, Rapid Wien (Austria), and Panserraikos (Greece).

The 28-year-old striker's greatest impact came during his time with Universitatea Craiova, where he scored 72 goals and provided 38 assists, helping the team secure the Romanian Cup and the Romanian Super Cup. In the 2025/26 season, Andrei Ivan played for Panserraikos in the Greek Super League, featuring in 32 matches, scoring 5 goals, and recording 4 assists.

Before finalizing the Andrei Ivan deal, Fresh Field Dong Nai had been continuously bringing in quality new signings to strengthen the squad. The club successively recruited goalkeeper Pham Van Phong, center-back Bui Tien Dung, along with two defenders Nguyen Van Duc and Phan Van Hieu, significantly boosting the defensive line's strength.

The addition of Andrei Ivan is seen as the final crucial piece to complete the lineup of the V.League newcomer. With the caliber of a Romanian international and experience competing in top European leagues, the striker born in 1997 is expected to become the leader of Fresh Field Dong Nai's attack.
