With increasingly professional organization, strong influence, and continuously improving quality, the tournament promises to remain a major festival of Southeast Asian football.

A total of 10 Southeast Asian teams will participate: Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam. They will be divided into two groups for the final round.
