Biba's three-core absence is suspected of giving up the Europa League! Amorim warned United not to take the opposition lightly, and the opponent can score three goals

Manchester United won the second leg of the Europa League semi-final at Old Trafford on Thursday with a 3-0 win away from home, and with three key players in the La Liga side on the side, the Reds seem to be in the final with no doubt about reaching the final.

On Wednesday, Biba announced his 24-man squad for Manchester travel, but the team's main players Iñaki and Nico Williams did not travel with the team, and with Oyhan Sanset, who was already out injured in the first leg, the "Basque Lions" were missing three indispensable stars up front.

Sanset is Bilbao's top scorer with 17 goals in all competitions, while the Williams brothers have scored five goals each in the Europa League, and injuries to three key players are sure to greatly reduce Biba's attacking threat. Bilbao defender Danny Vivian is sidelined with a first-leg red draw.

Having lost all three goals at home, Bilbao may have given up on the Europa League and, instead of Manchester United, will be focusing on La Liga, with four games to go, four points ahead of Real Betis, who play for Manchester United's loanee Antony, in fourth place in La Liga, and still have to work to secure a Champions League place next season.

However, Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim cautioned not to take things lightly and, like United fans, the 40-year-old Portuguese boss is not confident about the Red Devils this season and he does not know what kind of team will appear in the second leg of the semi-final. Amorim admits that sometimes the team loses power suddenly.

"If you look at our squad this season, no one can predict what will happen." Amorim said: "There are teams that can control the game, but we can't. I think United have to keep scoring goals to get to the next round. You can use Brentford's game as an example, we had chances to draw but were scored by the opposition after goal. We will probably have to suffer a little bit to get to the final and the team is ready. Sometimes we're a team in the game, but sometimes we lose our minds."

The United boss added: 'If you look at us this season, anything is really possible. We have to understand that the first goal can change everything, and the momentum of the game can change as a result. Or a red card, like it did a week ago. We have to fight to win this game and I'm thinking about how to win."

Commenting on how United are preparing for the second leg, Amorim said: "I only looked back at the first 30 minutes of the previous round and ignored the rest because the 11-10 scene was not worth using. I saw that the United players were nervous and most of the opponent's chances were our own mistakes. We lost possession of the ball and I couldn't find space. Bilbao is a top team and although it is difficult to play without key players, we can't take the opponent lightly and we need to play hard and try to win."

Manchester United have their worst league record in 35 years after suffering their 16th Premier League defeat of the season against Brentford, and while winning the Europa League could still bring a Champions League place, Amorim says it will not be enough to justify the Reds.

He said: 'In my opinion, since I took charge, the results in the Premier League have shown that this is the worst Manchester United and that's what I think. At the end of the season, we could be the worst European champions in Premier League history. So, that's not going to change anything, and we know it's been a disappointing season. Even if I win the title, I still feel like it's the worst season for the club in the last 50 years."
