According to the latest report from Italian legend Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City will strengthen their midfield this summer window, planning to poach AC Milan midfielder Reinders with an offer of 60 million euros.
Fabrizio Romano described it this way that Manchester City's initial offer for Reinders has been sent to AC Milan for a total of around €60 million, including add-ons, while Milan are hoping to get more for Reinders' transfer. Manchester City also need to move forward with transfer talks to sign Reinders in the summer window in order to reach an early agreement with Milan.
Reinders joined AC Milan from AZ Alkmaar for a transfer fee of 20.5 million euros in the summer window of 2023, and quickly became the heart of Milan's midfield.
The 26-year-old Reinders, a 1.85-meter-tall, right-footed player who can play in midfield, midfielder and midfielder, has a contract with Milan until 2030 and is valued at 50 million euros. Reinders has made 54 appearances for Milan in all competitions this season, including 53 starts, making a total of 4,591 minutes, scoring 15 goals and providing four assists.
