United's main objective this summer is to bolster their attacking line, however, with Christian Eriksen's departure, there is a need to strengthen the midfield. The Red Devils were interested in bringing in the 27-year-old Brazil international during the winter transfer window, but in the end he stayed at the Allianz Arena for the remainder of the season. However, Luiz ultimately found himself out of chance, coming off the bench in as many as 22 of his 28 appearances and playing just 522 minutes in Serie A.

Despite spending £42 million on their introduction a year ago, they are still willing to sell at a loss, and they are desperate to find a buyer. Juventus are not too happy to put Luis on loan, but if it is a permanent transfer, they will be more than welcome and can bargain.
