AGF has signed 24-year-old Danish defender Rasmus Carstensen from FC Köln.

Previously, Rasmus Carstensen participated in 23 Bundesliga matches for his German club, and he has also played in the top Belgian league after transferring from Silkeborg IF to KRC Genk in 2022.

"Rasmus will enhance the competition in our defense and on the flanks, and although he is still relatively young, he comes with substantial experience from the Polish league and both the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga."

"He is an offensive defender with significant stamina who consistently puts in hard work for his team, and he was instrumental in securing the championship for Lech Poznan. In the past, he has also proven his capabilities in the Danish Superliga before moving abroad, where he has gained valuable experience and matured as a player," says football director Carsten V. Jensen on the club website.
