Lukman has firmly turned down Napoli twice, eager to join Inter Milan, with Atalanta pricing him at €50 million for his 20 goals and 7 assists.

The latest report from Nigerian football journalist Bucci-Raba reveals that 27-year-old Nigerian winger Lukman is resolute in his desire to join Inter Milan and has turned down Napoli twice.

The journalist mentioned that Inter Milan wants to sign Lukman, and both Napoli and Atletico Madrid are interested in him, but the player is intent on joining Inter Milan, having declined Napoli's offer twice. Atalanta has set a price of €50 million for Lukman, which is €10 million lower than his market value of €60 million according to Transfermarkt, yet Inter Milan is still unwilling to match this price. Lukman is definitely worth €50 million, as many players who are not as good as him are priced much higher.

Lukman transferred from Leipzig to Atalanta in the summer of 2022 for €10.85 million, and over his three-year Serie A career, he has played 118 matches, scoring 52 goals and providing 25 assists, helping the team win the UEFA Europa League title in the 2023-24 season, and was named the African Player of the Year in 2024.

The 27-year-old Lukman stands 1.74 meters tall, is a right-footed player who can play as a second striker and a winger, and has a contract with Atalanta until 2027, with a market value of €50 million. Last season, Lukman appeared in 40 matches for Atalanta across all competitions, starting 34 of them, totaling 2,871 minutes on the pitch, contributing 20 goals and 7 assists.
