After selling Yorke to a high price, Sporting CP immediately signed the top scorer from the Segunda División for €25 million.

Football is a money-driven sport where big clubs eat up the smaller ones. Clubs like Sporting CP develop stars and then sell them at high prices, only to sign new players. Arsenal has compromised, meeting Sporting CP's demands with a total fee of €75 million for Yorke. Sporting CP acquired him from Coventry in the Championship for €24 million two years ago. He helped the team win the Primeira Liga twice in two seasons and earned the top scorer title for two consecutive years, boasting impressive stats of 97 goals and 28 assists in 102 appearances across all competitions. With Yorke leaving, Sporting CP quickly secured the Segunda División's top scorer.

According to the latest report from Italian transfer expert Romano, Sporting CP has reached an agreement to sign Almería's star forward Luis Suárez. The total transfer fee is €25 million, plus a 10% sell-on clause.

Luis Suárez is known as a journeyman in football, having played for multiple teams. He joined Almería from Marseille for €8 million during the summer transfer window in 2023, and after a previous six-month loan, he has accumulated 79 appearances, scoring 41 goals and providing 13 assists over two and a half years.

The 27-year-old Luis Suárez stands at 1.81 meters tall and plays as a right-footed center forward. He is valued at €8 million on the transfer market. Last season, he played 41 matches for Almería in the Segunda División, scoring 27 goals and providing 8 assists, making him the top scorer of the league.
