Subsequently, Italian transfer expert confirmed Roma's bid for Sancho and added that the offer is valued at £20 million, with Roma also open to a loan-to-buy arrangement. The decision now rests with Sancho and Manchester United.

Sancho, who came through Manchester City's youth academy, rose to fame at Borussia Dortmund and joined Manchester United in the summer of 2021 for a transfer fee of €85 million. However, his development at Old Trafford has not met expectations, and it now appears that this transfer could result in significant losses. Afterward, Sancho returned on loan to Dortmund and was loaned to Chelsea, but both stints ended without a permanent transfer.
