Roma aims to package two players from Manchester United, making them the best friends of the Red Devils! Hoylund requests assurance for a permanent transfer.

If Roma manages to finalize the two ongoing transfer deals this summer, Manchester United may regard them as their "best friends"! Following the £20 million bid for a loan-to-buy deal for Jadon Sancho, the Italian club is also set to package another former Red Devils player, Tyrell Malacia.

Roma's offer for Sancho has been accepted by Manchester United, and now it’s just a matter of waiting for the player to decide. Observant fans have noticed that Sancho deleted all content related to Manchester United from his social media over the weekend, leaving only personal content, which is seen as a sign of an impending departure.

This summer, Malacia, who trained alone with Sancho en route to Carrington, has also caught the attention of the "Giallorossi." In 2022, Ten Hag spent £13 million to sign Malacia from Feyenoord, making the 25-year-old Dutch left-back his first signing. However, injuries severely impacted his development, causing him to miss over 500 days and more than 70 matches.

In the second half of last season, Malacia was loaned to Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven, where the team won the title, but he was merely a spectator. PSV opted not to activate the €10 million buyout clause, forcing Malacia to return to Manchester United, where he was included in the "Five Mice of the Dressing Room" and excluded from first-team training.

However, Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that while negotiating Sancho's transfer, Roma also inquired about the possibility of signing this Dutch left-back. "Roma is in contact with Malacia as a potential left-back option. During negotiations with Manchester United regarding Sancho, Roma also asked about the transfer conditions for Malacia. Malacia is eager to move, and Besiktas is also interested in this Dutch left-back," Romano stated.

Reportedly, Manchester United is willing to sell Malacia for just £3 million, but his weekly wage of £75,000 could be a hurdle for the transfer. The player may need to accept a pay cut to make the move happen, as Serie A clubs do not offer as generously as the Premier League, especially not like the Red Devils, and this salary level may already be the top wage at the club.

If Sancho and Malacia join Roma, they could face off against their former Manchester United teammate Hoylund in Serie A next season. The 22-year-old Hoylund is very likely to transfer to AC Milan. Last weekend, Milan's sporting director, Paolo Maldini, publicly acknowledged that they are working on the "cargo ship" deal.

"We are currently evaluating Hoylund," Maldini said before Milan's Coppa Italia match against Bari. "However, the transfer market is unpredictable, and situations can change at any moment. Is Vlahovic an option? Of course, he, like our other targets, is a potential candidate."

Hoylund, along with Sancho, Malacia, and Antony, was left out of Manchester United's squad for the Premier League opener against Arsenal. He was spotted outside Old Trafford, sporting a beard and a weary look, perhaps in pain over the imminent end of his dream with the Red Devils. Although the Danish striker publicly declared his desire to stay and fight for his position, British media revealed that Hoylund has already accepted the reality of leaving, and now he just hopes to clarify his future 100%.

In other words, if he transfers, Hoylund hopes for a permanent move or a loan with an obligation to buy, rather than just an option to buy. This is because Hoylund does not want to be returned by the new club after 12 months; if he has to return to Old Trafford, he would not only become a laughingstock but also face an uncertain future again. Manchester United's new striker, Hojbjerg, signed at a high price, is several months younger than Hoylund.
