His Grand Slam performance this season has been rock-solid, reaching the semifinals at the Australian Open, French Open, and Wimbledon, repeatedly proving himself as a strong contender for Grand Slam titles. Djokovic has won the US Open four times—in 2011, 2015, 2018, and 2023—making him one of the most successful players in the history of this hard-court major. Last year, he was surprisingly defeated in the third round by Australian player Poprin. Returning to Flushing Meadows, he will strive to avoid another upset and fight with full effort for his 25th Grand Slam trophy.

Italian star Lorenzo Musetti is another top 10 player in the ASICS tennis team. The 23-year-old one-handed backhander has shined in the 2025 season, making his first Masters final in Monte Carlo, followed by consecutive semifinal appearances at the Madrid, Rome, and French Open clay events, accumulating valuable points and firmly holding a spot in the world’s top ten. Unfortunately, Musetti suffered an injury at the French Open, causing him to miss the entire grass-court warm-up season. A month later, he returned healthy to compete at Wimbledon. During the North American hard-court season in August, he has been actively adjusting his form, aiming to compete at his best in Flushing Meadows.

ASICS tennis ambassador Martina Paolini

Since breaking into the world top ten last June, ASICS tennis ambassador Martina Paolini has steadily cemented her position through strong performances in various major tournaments. At the WTA 1000 Cincinnati event before the US Open, Paolini defeated several seeded players to reach the hard-court 1000 final again. This impressive showing places her among the favorites to win this year’s US Open. Last year, Paolini reached the Round of 16 at Flushing Meadows, marking her first time advancing to the second week there. Looking ahead to this year’s final Grand Slam of the season, the Italian is expected to challenge and possibly set a new personal best.

ASICS tennis ambassador Belinda Bencic will make her comeback at the US Open after maternity leave. This tournament represents her best Grand Slam result historically, having reached the semifinals in 2019, alongside two quarterfinal appearances. The fast hard courts of Flushing Meadows perfectly suit this Swiss star’s playing style, where she consistently performs at her peak. In July, Bencic made another major breakthrough by reaching the Wimbledon semifinals for the first time in nearly six years. Returning to the Grand Slam stage this time, if she regains her top form, she will be a formidable force in the women’s singles draw.

ASICS tennis ambassador Beatriz Haddad Maia will embark on her fifth US Open main draw appearance. Last year, she advanced to the quarterfinals at Flushing Meadows, achieving her best result in a hard-court Grand Slam. This left-handed Brazilian player boasts strong hard-court skills, having won two significant hard-court titles in Zhuhai 2023 and Seoul 2024. At this US Open, Haddad Maia will compete in both singles and doubles, continuing her partnership with longtime teammate Siegemund in the women’s doubles. At 29, the Brazilian number one, with over a decade of tour experience, hopes to achieve another career breakthrough at this Grand Slam.

For ASICS tennis ambassador Zhang Shuai, the US Open marks a major milestone in her career. She claimed her second Grand Slam title in 2021 alongside Stosur, and last year she reached the US Open doubles final again with Meladnovic, demonstrating her elite competitiveness in doubles. During the North American hard-court season in August, Zhang also performed impressively, winning the Washington title and finishing runner-up in Montreal with American partner Townsend. Maintaining this form, Zhang is expected to shine once more at this year’s US Open.
