The 2025 Women's Volleyball World Championship (FIVB Women's Volleyball World Championship) is the most prestigious international volleyball event, held from August 22 to September 7 across four cities: Bangkok, Chiangmai, Nakhon Ratchasima, and Phuket in Thailand. The 2025 World Championship marks a historic moment for Vietnamese women's volleyball as it is their first time participating in this prestigious event. Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet’s team earned their spot in Thailand by finishing in the top 4 at the 2023 Asian Championship.
The reigning World Champion is Serbia, who won 3-0 against Brazil in 2022. Serbia’s star player Tijana Boskovic is the current MVP of the tournament.
