The 2025 ITF International Tennis Masters MT100 Yinchuan event concluded successfully.

On August 24th, the four-day 2025 ITF International Tennis Masters MT100 Yinchuan tournament concluded successfully at the Guangming Plaza Tennis Courts in Ningxia Sports Center. As the first international-level mass tennis event introduced in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, the competition attracted numerous tennis enthusiasts from across the country to gather in the "South of the Great Wall" region, where they not only enjoyed the excitement and joy brought by tennis but also experienced the unique cultural charm of Yinchuan.

The event featured 10 categories, including three age groups: 50+, 55+, and 60+. After four days of competition, all the champions were decided. In the 50+ category, Yang Qian and Yang Baoyu won the men’s and women’s singles titles respectively, while Guo Peng/Wei Hong and Pan Yan/Sun Jing claimed the men’s and women’s doubles championships. In the 55+ category, Li Guikun secured the men’s singles title, Cai Zhaoli triumphed in the women’s singles, and Jiang Yunting/Yang Aiwang and Cai Shufang/Gao Jie took the men’s and women’s doubles titles. In the 60+ category, Li Guikun/Zhu Anguo and Li Chunying/Xia Yu captured the men’s and women’s doubles championships respectively.

On the court, players gave their all, with every outstanding serve, return, and smash earning enthusiastic applause from the spectators. Participants highly praised the organization of the event. Many players expressed that the tournament was well-organized with excellent facilities, and the committee staff and volunteers provided warm and attentive service, allowing them to fully enjoy the competition while deeply appreciating the charm of Yinchuan city. “Competing in Yinchuan made me feel the committee’s wholehearted dedication. Beyond the athletes, the services for family members were also excellent, such as promptly moving viewing chairs and beverages to the spectator area, enabling families to watch comfortably. It was a truly unforgettable experience,” said one participant.

The successful hosting of the ITF International Tennis Masters is a key initiative to actively support the national fitness strategy and promote high-quality development of mass tennis sports. It aims to implement a people-centered approach to organizing the event and strengthen the grassroots foundation of tennis. Holding the event in Yinchuan, Ningxia serves as a bridge for cultural exchange and integration between regions, significantly enhancing Ningxia’s international influence and contributing to the advancement of a healthy Ningxia. Furthermore, the “sports + tourism” development model highlights the deep integration of sports and cultural tourism industries, effectively driving the modernization of sports development.

The 2025 ITF International Tennis Masters MT100 Yinchuan was authorized by the International Tennis Federation (ITF), organized by the Chinese Tennis Association (CTA) and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Sports Bureau, hosted by the Yinchuan Sports Bureau, Xingqing District People’s Government, and Ningxia Tennis Association, co-organized by Ningxia Sports Center, Xingqing District Culture, Tourism, Sports and Radio Bureau, and Yinchuan Tennis Association, with Beijing Zhongwang Tennis Sports Co., Ltd. as the executing agency.
