2025 Flushing Meadows Day 2 Schedule: Yuan Yue and Shang Juncheng Take the Court, Venus Williams Headlines Night Session

The Day 2 schedule for 2025 Flushing Meadows has been announced, continuing the first round of main draw singles for men and women. On the Chinese side, Yuan Yue will start the day on Court 12 against the 17th seed Samsonova, marking a head-to-head clash. Shang Juncheng will play the second match on Court 10 against Italy’s Berrettini to fight for advancement. Additionally, Hong Kong’s Huang Zelin, who qualified through the preliminaries, will make his main singles debut on Court 13, while Taiwan’s Tseng Chun-hsin will play the opening match on Court 15.

On Arthur Ashe Stadium’s schedule, the women’s 6th seed Keys and men’s 17th seed Tiafoe will appear during the day session, facing Zarazua and Nishikori respectively. The night session will kick off with a marquee match between the legendary Venus Williams and 11th seed Muchova, followed by the first-round showdown between men’s 2nd seed Alcaraz and local favorite Opelka.
