CCTV-5 Channel 5's live broadcast schedule for the Snooker Wuhan Open today (8.27) surprisingly does not include matches featuring Chinese players.

On August 27, 2025, CCTV-5 and the CCTV video platform announced the live broadcast plan for the Snooker Wuhan Open. Regrettably, matches featuring Chinese players like Xiao Guodong, Si Jiahui, and Zhang Anda will not be shown.

According to the schedule shown above, there isn't a single match involving Chinese snooker players. We have three participants, but only foreign players’ matches are being broadcast. It's really unfortunate. So where can we watch the Chinese players compete? The answer is the Huya live streaming platform, which offers free broadcasts. Those interested can head there to watch.

Additionally, CCTV-5+ will broadcast a snooker match at 2 PM today, most likely the Williams vs. Selby game.

Let's hope all three Chinese players win their matches and successfully advance to the quarterfinals.
