The Badminton World Championships round of 16 takes place today (2025.8.28), featuring 13 matches with Chinese players Chen Yufei, Shi Yuqi, the Liang-Wang pair, and the Sheng-Tan pair, all covered live on CCTV-5.

Matches are held concurrently on four courts, and the schedule for the Chinese team’s participation has been finalized, as detailed in the image below.

• On Court 1, mixed doubles Cheng Xing/Zhang Chi, men’s singles Shi Yuqi, women’s singles Weng Hongyang, and men’s doubles Liang Weikeng/Wang Chang will take the court.

• On Court 2, women’s singles Wang Zhiyi and Chen Yufei will compete.

• On Court 3, women’s doubles Li Yijing/Luo Xumin and Liu Shengshu/Tan Ning will play.

• On Court 4, mixed doubles Guo Xinwa/Chen Fanghui and Jiang Zhenbang/Wei Yaxin, women’s singles Han Yue and Gao Fangjie, women’s doubles Jia Yifan/Zhang Shuxian, and men’s doubles Chen Boyang/Liu Yi will all compete.

CCTV-5, the Yangshipin app, Huya, and Youku will provide live streaming.

• Firstly, CCTV-5+ channel and the Yangshipin app will broadcast matches from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM today.

• CCTV-5 and the Yangshipin app will cover matches from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM and those after 11 PM.

• Thirdly, other match times will be streamed for free on Huya and Youku Sports channels, welcoming everyone to watch.

1. The Chinese team is expected to win about 10 to 11 out of the 13 matches.
