In the recently finished U23 Asian Cup qualifier group match, China dominated Northern Mariana Islands 10-0, showing great strength.
In their opening group match, China beat Timor-Leste 2-1, and combined with this 10-goal win, they now have an 11-goal difference, placing them favorably among the top four second-placed teams. At present, Thailand holds a +6 goal difference, and Uzbekistan has +4.
On September 9, 2025, China will face Australia in the final group match. A win will guarantee direct qualification; a draw or a narrow loss will still likely see China through. However, a heavy defeat against Australia would be risky. We look forward to China achieving their dream of qualifying for next year's U23 Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia.
