Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz meet again for the second straight year in the high-stakes final of the Six Kings Slam.
The current top tennis players in the world, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, will clash for the second consecutive time in the final of the Six Kings Slam — the tournament with the highest prize money ever offered.
On their way to the 2025 Six Kings Slam final, both Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz demonstrated overwhelming dominance. In the quarterfinal opener, Sinner easily defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in just two sets. Then, early this morning on October 17th (Vietnam time), the world No. 2 swiftly overcame Novak Djokovic 2-0 (6-4; 6-2).
Sinner secured an early break point in the third game of the first set. Throughout the remaining games, the Italian served with great precision, leaving Djokovic no chance to create any surprises, ultimately winning 6-4 and taking a 1-0 lead in the match.
In the second set, Djokovic was completely outplayed by his younger opponent. Nole lost two service games, allowing Sinner to lead 4-1. The Serbian player had his first break opportunity in game 6 of the semifinal but failed to capitalize, as Sinner raced to the finish, concluding the intense match in just 1 hour and 3 minutes.
Carlos Alcaraz, starting later in the tournament with fewer matches played, began his Six Kings Slam 2025 journey at the semifinals. There, Carlitos dominated Taylor Fritz, comfortably defeating the world No. 4 with a score of 6-4; 6-2.
The upcoming match between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz will be their sixth encounter this year, with Alcaraz leading 4-1 in victories. However, in last year’s Six Kings Slam final, Sinner was the one who triumphed.
The result of the upcoming match will not count towards the official head-to-head record between Sinner and Alcaraz, as the Six Kings Slam is not governed by the ATP or ITF.
The final between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner will take place early on October 19th (Vietnam time), while the third-place playoff between Novak Djokovic and Taylor Fritz will start at 11:30 PM on October 18th. The winner of the final will receive a massive prize of 6 million USD, the same as in the 2024 season.
