The tournament was organized by the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Vietnam Tennis Federation (VTF), Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with NovaGroup and the People's Public Security Sports Association.
This is one of the largest and most significant professional tennis tournaments in Vietnam each year. In 2025, the event continued to affirm its position as the country's premier professional tennis competition, featuring over 100 players from 14 provinces, cities, and strong clubs nationwide. Many teams, such as Ho Chi Minh City, the Military, Da Nang, and Hanoi, were considered strong contenders for top honors this year.
According to the organizers, the five main categories—men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles—were played in a knockout format, delivering thrilling and intense matches from the opening rounds to the finals. Teams prepared well, raising the tournament’s overall competitive level significantly.
At the end of the tournament, the men's singles title was won by Vu Ha Minh Duc (AP Sports Club), with Nguyen Van Phuong (Military) as runner-up; the women's singles champion was Tran Thuy Thanh Truc (Ho Chi Minh City), with Nguyen Thi Mai Linh (Hanoi) finishing second. In men's doubles, champions were Truong Thanh Minh and Vu Ha Minh Duc (AP Sports Club), with Le Quoc Khanh and Nguyen Dac Tien (Hanoi) in second place. The women's doubles winners were Ngo Hong Hanh and Phan Diem Quynh (Military), while Nguyen Hai Diep and Nguyen Pham Giao Linh (Phu Tho) were runners-up. In mixed doubles, the champions were Le Trung Tinh and Phan Diem Quynh (Military), with Tran Tien Thinh and Nguyen Tu Kim Ngan (Military) as runners-up.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Son, Vice President and General Secretary of VTF and Deputy Head of the organizing committee, stated that this event not only provides players an opportunity to showcase their form and prove their skills on the national stage but also serves as a key criterion for selecting male and female athletes for the national team to participate in SEA Games 33 in December 2025 in Thailand and other international competitions in 2026. In the fourth quarter of 2025, the Vietnam Tennis Federation will continue partnering with NovaWorld Phan Thiet and Lam Dong province to organize seven more international professional tennis tournaments.
According to the organizers, this event marks the opening activity for phase 2 of the 2025 Sports Festival at NovaWorld Phan Thiet, a large-scale sports series running from October 2025 through early 2026. By hosting consecutive competitions within the Sports Festival framework, the organizers aim to build a professional sports foundation, motivate the growth of sports practice, and help bring Vietnam’s image closer to the international community.
