On October 20th Beijing time, the press conference for the 2025 China Tennis Tour "Aoyu Comprehensive" Professional Finals (Macau) and the National Tennis Singles Championships was held in Beijing, announcing that the event will take place from December 1st to 7th at the Macau Tennis School. Top domestic tennis stars will gather in Macau to compete for the highest honors.

Established in 2020, the China Tennis Tour saw Aoyu Comprehensive Resort Co., Ltd. ("Aoyu Comprehensive") successfully secure the year-end finals in Macau the following year and has been the title sponsor for five consecutive years. After five years of careful refinement, the event has grown into an annual sports highlight in Macau, showcasing the city’s growing capability in hosting major events and integrating resources, while strengthening Macau’s strategic role in the sports layout of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The press conference began with a promotional video conveying the passion and energy of this tennis event. Players Cui Jie, Terigele, Liu Fangzhou, Yang Zhaoxuan, Guo Hanyu, and Wang Aoran sent congratulatory videos. Ding Xianghua, Deputy Director of the Tennis Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, stated: “Since its inception in 2020, the China Tennis Tour has carried the important mission of nurturing future talents and promoting tennis. Looking ahead, we will continue to optimize the event system and drive high-quality development of tennis across broader and deeper levels. Wu Yuling, President of the Macau Tennis Association, addressed the conference: “During the past four editions held in Macau, the event has received warm welcome and support from local citizens, tourists, and media friends. This year’s tournament will offer more
unique highlights to athletes and teams visiting Macau. We will enhance Greater Bay Area promotion through media and online platforms to continuously spread information and highlights of the event. Additionally, we will present abundant gifts to Macau residents and tennis enthusiasts, inviting fans from different cities to come to Macau to watch and witness the development of Chinese tennis.”
The press conference introduced the overall event details. The 2025 China Tennis Tour season started this April in Huzhou and after fierce competition nationwide, top domestic players will gather in Macau in December to compete for the annual top honors. The event features four categories: men’s and women’s singles and doubles, with 16 singles slots and 8 doubles slots, conducted in group round-robin and knockout stages.
Ticketing information was also announced at the conference. Tickets are now on sale on Go Out Mall and Damai platforms, with a 50% discount for Macau residents and students studying in Macau. Early bird tickets are available at half price until November 30th. Additionally, group tickets (10 tickets) are offered at a 60% discount, providing a cost-effective option for fans attending in groups.
This year’s event not only attracts top domestic players but also features numerous special activities during the tournament, including the Family Cup Tennis Invitational, free play zones, cultural and creative areas for visits, the long-running “Special Olympics Interactive Camp,” and “Conversations with Outstanding Athletes” sharing sessions. The event also integrates Macau’s tourism resources, allowing ticket holders to enjoy multiple discounts on Macau’s tourism, dining, and shopping, encouraging residents and visitors to immerse themselves in Macau’s culture.
Notably, the 2025 “Zheng Jie Cup” Youth Tennis Elite Training Camp will be held in Macau for the first time. Led personally by Zheng Jie and Zhang Yu, the national team coaches will provide professional training experiences. Outstanding local youth players from Macau will also be invited to participate, exchanging and learning alongside elite players nationwide, aiming to promote the development of youth tennis in Macau.
Macau has hosted the China Tennis Tour professional finals for five consecutive years, demonstrating its goal and determination to build a new “Sports City” brand and deeply integrate into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area development strategy. With the 15th National Games taking place in the three regions of the Greater Bay Area in November, this early December tennis event in Macau will further extend the nationwide sports enthusiasm sparked by the National Games, supporting the firm commitment to “sports + tourism” integration, innovation, and moderately diversified economic development.
