The schedule for the third day of the 2026 Australian Open has been announced, including three Chinese singles players: Zhang Shuai, Wang Xinyu, and Shang Juncheng. Tang Qianhui will also play in the opening round of the women's doubles.

Zhang Shuai will make her debut on Kia Arena, facing local wildcard Preston. The two recently met during the Brisbane qualifiers in the first week of the new season, where Zhang claimed victory. The other three Chinese players are scheduled on Court 7: Tang Qianhui and Lumsden will challenge the second seeds Errani/Paolini in doubles, Wang Xinyu will follow in the second match against qualifier Kalinina, and Wu Yibing will play third against Italian player Nardi.

On the main court, defending champions Sinner and Keys will appear, with a highlight match between American top player Shelton and French contender Humbert. Two-time champion Naomi Osaka will close the day’s action.
