The schedule for the seventh day of the 2026 Australian Open is out, with the third-round clashes in the bottom halves of the men’s and women’s singles draws commencing, and all spots in the round of 16 to be determined.

Wang Xinyu
Wang Xinyu, the sole Chinese survivor in the singles bracket, will take the court for the second match on Kia Arena to face the 13th seed Noskova for a spot in the round of 16. The match is scheduled to start no earlier than 9:00 AM Beijing time. The two players previously met in last year’s WTA Prague semifinals, where Noskova won in straight sets. Can Wang Xinyu achieve a sweet revenge at the Australian Open? Let’s cheer her on together!

Novak Djokovic

Czech
Due to the intense heat in Australia, all matches tomorrow will begin one hour earlier than usual. The first match on Rod Laver Arena features a key battle between women’s defending champion Czech and former world No. 1 Karolina Pliskova; next, two-time defending champion Sinner will face Spizzirri. In the night session, ten-time champion Novak Djokovic will open against Vanderschoor; the final match will showcase a showdown between two-time champion Naomi Osaka and local qualifier “dark horse” Ingles.
Margaret Court Arena will host five matches, where Pegula, Anisimova, Shelton, Swiatek, and Ruud will each fight to secure their place in the round of 16.

Zhang Shuai / Mertens
In doubles, the 4th seeds Zhang Shuai and Mertens will play the fourth match on Court 7 against Jovic and Mboko; the 16th seeds Guo Hanyu and Meladnovic will open the day on ANZ Court, facing Pavlyuchenkova and Townsend. Additionally, the junior events will begin tomorrow, with the women’s 5th seed Zhang Ruiyan, Qu Yihan, and the 10-year-old qualifier Lin Yujun competing in their first-round matches.
