Alcaraz's participation in the Madrid Masters is doubtful

According to Spanish media reports, Spanish king Alcaraz will hold a press conference at 12:30 local time today (18:30 Beijing time), at which the decision on whether to participate in this year's Madrid Masters will be announced. This year's clay season saw Alcaraz win the Monte Carlo Masters and then a runner-up finish in Barcelona. However, Alcaraz suffered an adductor injury in his right leg in the final in Barcelona, which cast a shadow over his prospects for a clay-clay season, although he himself was optimistic about the injury in previous interviews.

The only player from Chinese mainland who will play in the Madrid Masters, Buyun Chaokert, will play in the opening round tonight, against the British player Feinley, who broke through from the qualifying round. After falling behind 0-2 in the previous head-to-head record between the two sides, the game was scheduled for the last match on Court 3 and is expected to be played at 23:00 GMT tonight.
