ATP Rome Masters: Alcaraz advances, Fez knocks out Tsitsipas

On May 11, local time, the third round of the men's singles lower half of the 2025 ATP1000 Rome Masters was the first to be held. Defending champion Zverev swept past qualifier Gaubas 6-4, 6-0 and will face 13th seed Fez, who came back from behind to win 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 against Tsitsipas. No.3 seed Alcaraz defeated Djere 7-6(2), 6-2 to set up a comfortable victory over homegrown wildcard Pazaro as 23rd seed Khachanov.

Fifth seed Draper beat qualifier Kobriva 6-4, 6-3 and will next face France's Moutai who beat ninth seed Rune 7-5, 5-7, 7-6(4) in three sets. Eighth seed Musetti defeated Brandon Nakashima 6-4, 6-3 and 10th seed Medvedev beat Poplin 6-4, 6-1 to reach the round of 16.
