Men's singles favourites Sinner and Novak Djokovic both won in the third round to secure a place in the round of 16. Among them, the top seed and Italian rising star Sinner once won 11 games in a row at one point, and finally swept the Czech rising star Lehecka 6-0 6-1 6-2 with eggs + fritters + roast goose, winning 17 consecutive Grand Slam victories.

According to reports, Fez was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his back and needed to recuperate for 4-6 weeks, possibly Wimbledon. Djokovic will take on Great Britain's Norrie, who eliminated compatriot Fernley in three sets.
Third seed Zverev Jr. also put in an impressive 6-2 7-6(4) 6-1 win over Italy's rising star Koboli to advance to the fourth round and face Dutch star Grykspoor, who overcame qualifier Quinn 4-6 6-1 6-7(2) 6-1 6-4 in five sets.
Fifth seed and British No.1 Draper was in great form, beating popular fried chicken and Brazilian rising star Fonseca 6-2 6-4 6-2 to advance to the round of 16. He will next face Kazakhstan's Bubrik, who beat qualifier Rocha 7-5 6-1 6-2.
Women's Tournament: In the third round of the Women's Singles bottom half, second seed Gauff defeated Czech rising star Bouzkova 6-1 7-6(3) to reach the second week of the French Open for the fifth consecutive year. She will next face Russia's Alexandrova for a place in the last eight, who beat compatriot Kudermetova 6-2 6-2.
Sixth seed and rising Russian star Mila Andreeva swept past Kazakhstan's Putintseva 6-3 6-1 to claim her 30th win of the season and reach the last 16 of the French Open for the second year in a row. In the next round, she will meet compatriot Kasatkina, who knocked out 10th seed Badosa of Spain 6-1 7-5.
Of the other four Round 16 spots, three were won by Americans. Among them, Baptiste defeated Spaniard Maneiro 7-6(4) 6-1; Keys defeated compatriot Kenin 4-6 6-3 7-5; Pegula defeated Czech star Vondrousova 3-6 6-4 6-2. Homegrown Boisson beat compatriot Jacquemo 6-3 0-6 7-5 to secure a place in the round of 16.
Doubles Field: The Chinese Jinhua combination who played in the second round of the women's doubles on the same day failed to win and lost one after another. Among them, Yuan Yue/Sun Lulu lost 5-7 2-6 to No.2 seeds Errani/Bolini; Jiang Xinyu/Wu Fangxian lost 4-6 3-6 to Danilina/Krunic. Chinese Taiwanese players Hsieh Shu-wei and Zhan Hao-ching also stopped in the second round of the Women's Doubles. At 5 p.m. Beijing time today, the eighth match day of the French Open began.
