Since 2019, Rolex, the renowned Swiss watch brand, has been the Chief Partner of Roland Garros and the Official Timekeeper of the Games, achieving full coverage of the sponsorship of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments. At this year's French Open, the Rolex Testimonee was undoubtedly the most dazzling presence, especially in the men's and women's singles finals, where they delivered unforgettable matchups.

The Men's Singles final was an epic contest between Rolex Testimonees. World No. 1 Sinner against World No. 2 Alcaraz. At the beginning of the match, Sinner was in excellent form, taking a 6-4 lead, and then won another set 7-6 in the second set through a tie-break to take a 2-0 lead.

However, Alcaraz has shown great resilience and a big heart. When he was down 3-5 in the fourth set and faced a desperate situation at 0-40 on his own serve, he saved three match points in a row to hold serve, and then broke his opponent's serve to win the game. In the end, Alcaraz made the first comeback of his career in this fierce battle, defeating Sinner 4-6, 6-7, 6-4, 7-6, 7-6, to win five consecutive victories against the latter, successfully defending the French Open and lifting the Musketeers Cup.

The 22-year-old has been in an impressive run at Grand Slam events, winning all five Grand Slam finals, including two at the French Open, two at Wimbledon and one at the US Open. The final lasted 5 hours and 29 minutes, making it the longest men's singles final at the French Open in the Open era, after a record of 4 hours and 42 minutes in the 1982 final when Wieland defeated Vilas. Alcaraz also became only the third player in the Open era to save a match point in a Grand Slam men's singles final, following Gaudio in the 2004 French Open final and Novak Djokovic in the 2019 Wimbledon final.

Sinner was full of grace in his speech: "First of all, congratulations to Carlos [Alcaraz], you did a great job, this duel was so exciting, everything was great. You've done a great job for you and your team. I'm so happy for you, you deserve it, congratulations! It's harder to talk than to play at the moment. Thank you to my team, you guys have brought me to this point and today we gave our best and gave everything. Not so long ago, we couldn't have imagined standing here. Even though it feels very tough right now, it's still an amazing event and I'll be fine. ”

It's an honor to play with you every time, and even more so to make history with you. You are a huge inspiration to all the young people and everyone, and to myself as well. I just want to say thank you for all of this, my team, my family, and I feel incredibly blessed to have had the privilege of going through these wonderful things with you. I am fortunate to have a lot of people who have come from my hometown in Murcia to support me, and I have a lot of friends here. Thank you for the amazing support you have given me today and throughout the past two weeks. And those who were not able to come to the scene but supported me at home, thank you very much. This trophy belongs to you, too. ”

Against world No. 1 Sabalenka, the 21-year-old Gauff got off to a bad start, losing the first set 6-7. Undeterred, she quickly adjusted her form to win the second set 6-2 and 6-4 in the deciding set to claim her second career Grand Slam title and her 10th career overall tour title.

Sabalenka was disrupted by the windy weather on the day of the final, which caused a whopping 70 unforced errors. At the award ceremony, Sabalenka, who finished runner-up in two consecutive Grand Slams, could not hide her loss and burst into tears: "To be honest, it's really sad, especially after such a difficult two weeks. I played great tennis, but in the final, in such terrible conditions, I played such a terrible performance, and it really hurts. But it doesn't matter, anyway, Coco (Gauff), congratulations, you played better than me in these tough conditions. Congratulations on a great two weeks and your second Grand Slam title. You're a fighter and a hard worker, congratulations to you and your team. ”

I just feel happy to be standing here now. I would like to congratulate Alina (Sabalenka), you are a fighter and the number one in the world. I know it was a tough race today, but you deserved all the results you've achieved. Every time I fight you, it's an uphill battle for me. Congratulations and hopefully we'll meet again many times in the future. I want to thank my parents. You have done so much for me, and you trust me even more than I trust myself. And my brothers at home, you are the driving force for me to work hard, and your encouragement to me is far beyond your imagination. I would like to thank my team, it has been a great pleasure to be with all of you, each and every one of you has been really good. You don't just push me to improve, you make it all fun. I know sometimes I'm not the easiest person to get along with, and I can be too serious, but you remind me that there's so much more to life than tennis. That's what makes me better on the pitch. ”
