ATP standings: The quarterfinalists of the Washington tournament have been determined, with Fritz, Medvedev, and others advancing smoothly.

This week's most anticipated event is the ATP 500 Washington Open.

Although the lineup was somewhat affected shortly after Wimbledon, four players from the top 10 are participating, along with local stars like Tiafoe and big names like Medvedev, making for a fairly luxurious roster.

Top seed Fritzhas had a smooth journey, winning every set without dropping one, defeating Australian player Vukic and Italian player Anardi consecutively to reach the quarterfinals.

12th seed Fokinaalso did not drop a set, defeating compatriots Munar and Lestienne to advance to the quarterfinals.

Notably, American rising star Lestienne defeated Norrie in the first round and eliminated 5th seed Rublev in the second round with scores of 7-5/6-2. Losing to Fokina was a bit disappointing.

In the quarterfinals, Fokina will face top seed Fritz.

4th seed Shelton and 6th seed Tiafoeboth defeated 15th seed Diallo and 9th seed Cobolli, respectively,and the two will face off in the quarterfinals.

8th seed Medvedevwon against American powerhouse Opelka in the second round with scores of 3-6/7-5/6-1. Facing Opelka, who is the tallest active player at 2.11 meters, Medvedev, standing at 1.98 meters, appeared quite small. However, he managed to withstand the onslaught from his opponent. In the third round, Medvedev quickly defeated Chinese player Wu Yibing with scores of 6-3/6-2, advancing to the quarterfinals.

In the quarterfinals, Medvedev will face French player Moutet.

Lucky loser Moutetalthough he lost to Chinese player Wu Yibing in the second round of qualifying, he advanced further than Wu. He took the spot of the 3rd seed (Rune?) and enjoyed a first-round bye, defeating his French compatriot Muller 6-0/6-1 in the second round and overcoming British veteran Evans 6-2/7-6 (4) in the third round to reach the quarterfinals.

7th seed De Minaurnarrowly defeated Czech player Lehecka with scores of 7-6 (4)/6-7 (6)/6-4 to advance to the quarterfinals. In the deciding set, he was leading 5-2, but his opponent remained determined, breaking and holding serve to close the gap to 4-5. Fortunately, De Minaur held his second service match to secure his place in the quarterfinals.

In the quarterfinals, De Minaur will face American player Nishioka.

14th seed Nishiokadefeated British player Norrie with scores of 7-6 (3)/6-3 to advance to the quarterfinals.

Notably, Norrie defeated compatriot Billy Harris in the first round and fought through three sets in the second round, winning against 2nd seed Musetti with scores of 3-6/6-2/6-3. Losing to Nishioka was a bit disappointing.

Rublev and Musetti, who were eliminated in the second round, did not reach the quarterfinals.
