Ivanovic and Schweinsteiger have divorced due to "irreconcilable differences."

Recently, foreign media reported that Serbian tennis star Ivanovic has divorced her husband, German footballer Schweinsteiger. Her lawyer confirmed to the German newspaper Bild that the couple divorced because of "irreconcilable differences." Previously, Schweinsteiger was seen in close proximity with a Bulgarian influencer.

In 2014, Schweinsteiger led the German team to lift the World Cup trophy in Brazil as a key player. Subsequently, he and Ivanovic were spotted walking together in New York, revealing their relationship. In November of that year, Schweinsteiger traveled to Belgrade to celebrate Ivanovic's 27th birthday, officially making their relationship public.

In July 2016, the couple held their wedding in Venice, Italy, attended by notable figures such as Bayern Munich president Hoeness, then German national team coach Löw, and tennis stars Kerber and Murray. By the end of that year, Ivanovic announced her retirement from professional tennis, while Schweinsteiger also retired at the end of 2019.

The couple welcomed three children during their marriage. In March 2018, Ivanovic gave birth to a baby boy; in August 2019, their second child was born safely; and in February 2023, Ivanovic announced her third pregnancy on social media. The Laver Cup, held in Berlin in September 2023, marked the last time the couple appeared together publicly. Beginning in 2024, they started living apart, with Schweinsteiger frequently traveling for work and primarily residing in Munich, while Ivanovic stayed in her hometown of Belgrade with their three children.
