Pan Zhanle's report! The World Championships 4×100m freestyle relay secured fifth place, with Pan Zhanle finishing in 46.63 seconds, moving from seventh to fifth.

On July 27, Beijing time, the first final day of the swimming events at the Singapore Swimming World Championships was contested, with the Chinese men's 4×100m freestyle relay team, led by Pan Zhanle, finishing in fifth place. The championship was won by the Australian team, while the American team took the silver. The four young athletes representing China were Chen Jun'er, Wang Haoyu, Liu Wudi, and Pan Zhanle. In the first three legs, we were only in seventh place, but Pan Zhanle achieved a time of 46.63 seconds, ultimately bringing us to fifth place.

In the preliminary rounds held in the morning, the four young athletes from China performed steadily, with Pan Zhanle moving from fourth to second place in the final leg, achieving a time of 3 minutes 12.26 seconds and securing second place in the group, thus advancing smoothly to the finals. The split times for the four athletes were Chen Jun'er at 48.56 seconds, Wang Haoyu at 47.59 seconds, Liu Wudi at 48.38 seconds, and Pan Zhanle at 47.73 seconds. Judging by the split times, Pan Zhanle still had some energy in reserve, and we have the strength to challenge for the championship in the final.

In the finals, the lineup for the Chinese team remained unchanged, featuring Chen Jun'er, Wang Haoyu, Liu Wudi, and Pan Zhanle. The Chinese team started in lane six, with Chen Jun'er performing well, placing fourth. The American team took the lead, closely following the world record pace. Wang Haoyu was the second leg, but by the time he received the baton, we had dropped to eighth place, with the American team still in first. In the third leg, the Chinese team remained in eighth place. Pan Zhanle started last in seventh place, and after 50 meters, China moved up to fifth place, with Pan Zhanle ultimately helping the team secure fifth place.
