WTA Cincinnati: Gauff Advances Smoothly, Paolini Dominates Krejcikova

On August 14, 2025, the quarterfinal lineup for the WTA 1000 Cincinnati women's singles lower bracket was determined. Second seed Gauff defeated Bronzetti in straight sets, 6-2/6-4, reaching the quarterfinals for the second time at this event, having won the championship in 2023.
