The 2025 US Open qualifying tournament will begin this week, featuring six Chinese players—Zhang Shuai, Wei Sijia, Gao Xinyu, Wang Xiyu, Wu Yibing, and Sun Fajing—who will strive for a main draw position. Gao Xinyu, Wang Xiyu, and Sun Fajing are set to play on the opening day. A total of six players from China have qualified for the singles main draw, including Wang Xinyu, Yuan Yue, Zhu Lin, Wang Yafan, Buyun Chaokete, and Shang Juncheng. Among them, Zhu Lin and Wang Yafan qualified based on protected rankings, while Zheng Qinwen withdrew due to health issues.
